New song!

On wednesday we will be releasing a new song from our upcoming album on Myspace! A little sneakpeek.
What it's called, how long it is, and what it's all about - you will have to find out when it drops in the middle of the week.

Remember, it's only a pre-production. But it will give you a pretty good idea of what the whole thing might sound like in the end!

Over and out!

Drums are done!

Just popping by to say the drums are done! Except for one thing that we will keep secret for now. As the new song was the last thing for me to record I thought I would go out in style :P

Later on this week, we will be bringing some amps and stuff to the studio and do some soundcheck for the guitars. Should be great fun. Anyway, we are inching closer to completion. And we are really excited to be bringing some new tunes to the table.

I'm also glad I got to use this little fellow right here, tho only present in one song. But that is certainly better than nothing!

Robert & Chris going over some things for the new song.

See you later this week!

New song!

Hello fellow punks!

As you already know, I've been at home looking over the drums and they sound great. However we could not wrap up the drum recording due to the new song not beeing finished...

But today we have awesome news!

Que drumroll (pun intended).................

The new song is done! And we will record it tonight. It should be a fairly simple process since it's fresh in my mind at the moment. And we are superstoked to include it on the album!

In other news, we just might put up a sneakpeek of an upcoming song on our myspace page. More info on that in the following days to come.

We will probably round up the amplifiers and guitars we will be using and get them to the studio this weekend. So next week we will start tracking some guitars and bass! How's that for a slice of fried gold? (anyone know which movie that quote is from? Tell me about it in the comments section)

Cheers!

Progress report + Pictures!!

Hello, and sorry for the sluggish posting..

Today I'm at home in my personal studio brushing up the drums a bit and making shure everything sounds good before we start tracking guitars & bass. This is also were we will be mixing the album in a few weeks time. I'm feeling kind of empty handed at the moment as most of my stuff is in the studio right now. But I guess I don't need all of it for the matter at hand.

All of the drums are hopefully now done, with the exception of one song that is still in the writing process. If we feel we don't have time we will probably skip it, but we will make haste trying to get it done. As usual it's tricky getting all of us to the studio at the same time. So I can say there are going to be 9 tracks on this album. Who wants a 10'th? Shout at us about it in the comments below.

Now I will stop my rants and rambles and give you what the headline is so keenly promising. Pictures!!
Now some of these are kind of old, but since they have not been posted I feel like I have to share them with the world. Enjoy and I'll be seeing you around!

Hollah!

And now on to the main story:

Here is the first part of our Video Diary! (A little over due, sorry about that!) In this first part you will get a short introduction of the members in the band and a glimpse of the studio as we do some soundcheck on the drums.

Enjoy! This is only the first one of, hopefully, many videos!
If you don't understand swedish, please leave a comment and ask for a translation.
If the interest is big enough we just might take the time to put subtitles on future clips in our studio diary.

Progress report.

Hello!

It's been some time since we updated the blog. And for that we are truly sorry. Most of the band have been busy at work or with other stuff, so we have had a hard time being available at the same time. However, we have been here in the studio and things are coming along nicely. The drums are not yet finished because we are also making tunes in the studio, which is totally new for us, seeing as we always write our stuff at rehearsals.

Anywho, we are very excited about the new songs and we hope that everyone out there, in the end, will find that the wait was worth it. Since we have put so much heart and soul into these songs we don't want to rush things and make a half assed recording, but deliver the best damn album we could possibly do. We hope you will hear that in the end result!

For you who think we have been lazy recently, we can say that this week we will be here almost everyday. So there should be more updates a'comin! Also, watch (pun intended) out for a videoclip we will be posting with what we have been doing so far. It should be posted pretty soon.

Complaints about our laziness goes in the comments section ;)

Cheers!

IL(L) ROBERT

Today Rickard and Chris has been recording some drums, and I've been told things are going okay. However, I got sick with some stomach issues and some fever today and won't be able to attend the drum recordings tomorrow. And due to a long day's work, neither will Chris.

-But why can't Rickard record the god damn drums himself or with Dave, you say?
Well, to get the right feeling he wants at least one guitar to play along with, and Dave plays the bass.

So tomorrow we'll just take it easy, maybe I'll write some lyrics or something. There's always a risk that I get stuck in front of the TV, playing some GTA IV though...

Last but not least, I want everyone reading to join me in a little ritual:

As you read this, raise both your middle fingers and curse at my illness in whatever way you like. Some people likes the F-word, others use "darn" or something. The choice is yours, just as long as you curse at my illness. :D

Thanks!
